Dalscone Farm Fun

This was I first family trip out & easy to find with lots of parking. If anything it was a lot bigger than we were expecting. Although the weather was on & off, they have indoor areas for softplay, food & activities. Outdoor play areas, lots of activities and animals to meet and pet. We even got 2 free pumpkins to take home to carve with the kids for Halloween. We thought it was good value for money and it kept the boys busy for the day!

Great value! Just Superb! Ive lived in the region for 6 years and have families come to visit who have children. I’ve never thought of bringing them to Dalscone but after today it’s all I will do! There is just so much to do here to keep the children occupied. A diverse petting zoo, amazing indoor soft play and jungle gym area, outdoor play and HUGE sandpit, tricycles, manual go carts, toboggan, and some rides which are pay to use like the boats and indoor carts. There’s a superb gift shop, and more than adequate cafe. Very clean and well maintained. Pricing is very reasonable (under 1 free, child 1-2 years old are £8, 3-16 years old are £12 and adults £11). You can also get a season pass. Once you’ve paid for the day you can come and go as you please provided you keep your wrist band on. Highly recommended.

We had an absolutely fantastic time here - everything was so well laid out and it was so so clean - which is a huge thing when it comes to tourist attractions. The children had such a fun time, there was so much to do. Some things were an extra couple of pounds like the water bumper rings but considering the price of entry, that's understandable. Plus they needed staff for those particular things as it's a deep pool. The staff were lovely and the animals were well kept and happy - will be back

Absolutely love Dalscone Farm! I visit both as an adult to see the animals and take photos of them, and with my godchildren, nieces and nephews for family days out and Dalscone ticks every box, every time. Very reasonable entry fees as so much is included once you get in from soft play, slides, golf, trampolines, sand pit (which is a huge hit with us haha), animal handling sessions. Yes you have to pay extra for a couple of the electronic rides or to buy animal food but it is not a necessity and nor is it pushed on you to do so. Plenty to do for all ages (yes even adults can play and many do!). Unleash your childish side for a day - go on I dare you haha! There is a large variety of animals all who are very friendly and able to be hand fed and stroked by adults and children alike from donkeys to sheep, goats to llamas. And in the small animal house there’s an array of wonderful creatures to discover and get up close with - ever wanted to hold a tortoise or feed a bearded dragon his dinner?! You can now! Food is well priced and delicious, not your average fast food thrown together which is common of these places. You can get something freshly made for you which is tasty and filling. But don’t forget the ice cream and sweet treats too - trust me the cake cabinet selection makes it a hard choice! I also want to take a moment to say how impeccably clean everything is, I have never been inside a soft play that genuinely feels clean before but this one does. Overall over many visits for over a year now I continue to be impressed with Dalscone and I continue to choose it for days out and I will well into the future I’m sure. Keep up the great work each and every one of you.

Decent adventure farm, but possibly a bit on the expensive side in comparison to others (I think we paid £34 for 2 adults and 1 child). There's loads to do, but does feel a bit chaotic when you first arrive due to the amount if people and close proximity of the activities. It quietened down loads later in the day though. Our favourites were the trampolines, kart safari, and soft play.

I returned to visit in April 2023 and still find the place amazing. Everything is so clean and everyone is so welcoming and friendly. It is nice that there is always someone around to help and answer any questions. There is so much for children to do that a full day at the park goes by so quick. It is great to get close to the animals to pet and feed them. There are so many lovely animals. With it being lambing it was even more special to see all the little lambs and get the chance to bottle feed them.The new shed built since last year is a great addition. Allowing people to be able to watch live births with the Farmers commentary is a great opportunity and educational. Shame I didnt manage to catch a live birth, too late for one and left before another, maybe next time. Lunch in the cafe was really lovely and served with a welcoming smile. I will be back and would happily encourage others to visit they will not be disappointed as it is a great day out for both adults and children.

First time here and we all absolutely loved it. Was busy for the strawberry festival but its so open that it didn't actually feel busy, was perfect for my 3 boys who are all autistic and like their own space. Plenty for the kids to do and lots of lovely animals. The sand pit was a big hit with my 3 boys. Everything was clean and well looked after, staff were friendly. Also had the best strawberry tarts I've ever eaten 😋 just loved it, will definitely be back.
